Columbus-Day-Regatta-2006
I was lucky enough to experience the Columbus Day Regatta in Miami twice in my life. The first one was off the chain and before cell phones. There was no limit to how many boats could tie up together. I found these photos and wanted to share them with you. I just love being on the water especially with no rules!!!!!
These were definitely the good old days. Minka cracked me up when she was trying to get money from people taking photos with a polaroid camera when people had cell phones. The convention used to be at the Sands Convention center in Vegas simultaneously with CES. It was a great show for fans and the tube sites and free porn didn't exist then. I hope you can feel the energy in these photos!

After all the other conventions, Miami is always anticlimactic for me. It is quaint and cozy with a limited and predictable number of stars. Ron Jeremy and I had a blast at South Beach and then took our party to the Trapeze ( a Ft. Lauderdale swingers club) where he was hands on as usual with every chick who he could grab. The Hedgehog was harmless but definitely an opportunist. I have great memories in all these good times!
